Monthly update..! - 20/5 '06
Sorry that it took ten more days than normal to do the monthly update, but I (Isak) have been very buys with various projects for my school. Anyway, now we're finally updating again. First off, we had some problems with one of our domain names, www.brokensword4.co.uk. But everything should be working fine now. I've also put up some affilates under the poll, and if you wanna have a button there, please contact us! So what have happend on the Broken Sword front? Well first off, Broken Sword 2.5 seems to be delayed. At this moment it seems that the game will be released no earlier than 2008! So if you can help out, check out this page.

What about Broken Sword 4 then? Well as you might know this years E3 is over since a week ago... Not much was reported about Broken Sword 4, although some magazines has made a small notice of the game. This was what Adventure Gamers said about the game, from this article:

"After Experience112, perhaps only one game could manage not to feel like a letdown, but thankfully that was exactly what was planned. Broken Sword: The Angel of Death is of course the fourth game in the acclaimed series starring George and Nico... Or is it? The lovely French heroine has been conspicuous by her absence in the game's early screenshots and story descriptions, featuring George with a beautiful blonde instead. But not to worry. The developers were simply having a little fun with worried longtime fans. The blonde is an integral character in the story, but Nico is indeed back, with yet another new hairstyle and voice, but still as sassy and sultry as ever. The game itself looks like classic Broken Sword, though this time using a combination of point and click with the 3D environments first introduced in BS3 (with an optional direct control scheme). It certainly shows every sign that the hard lessons of the previous game were taken to heart and the weaknesses improved or removed in the new title. We'll have plenty more to say about the game in the coming weeks, including the all-important non-gratuitous pigeon AI! What other game can boast THAT?"

So it sounds good, and hopefully we'll have more information from Adventure Gamers soon! Here is the last months poll results:

Poll #19: What type of control will you use in Broken Sword 4?
Point 'n' click (BS1/2) (97) - 76%
Direct control (BS3) (30) - 24%
Total votes: 127

So I'll hope to update more about BS4 and a Mr. Smoozles goes nutso preview in the near future!
