Broken Sword on handhelds

Broken Sword on the PSP or the Nintendo DS? Could Be!

In 2002 we saw the release of Broken Sword - The Shadow of the Templars on the Gameboy Advance. And why would Revolution stop to develop games for the handheld consoles..? Broken Sword 2 was supposed to be released for Gameboy Advance, we ever heard that the only missing point was the publisher. And the publisher is a big deal. And that's why, unfortanley, we didn't get to see a Broken Sword 2 on the Gameboy Advance. But since the release of Nintendo DS & PSP things might get easier for the adventure game genre on handhelds? Possibly the games might be on handheld consoles. These are some examples which proves that the Broken Sword games (all three even) would fit the new generations handheld consoles:

Nintendo DS:
-Touch Screen at the bottom (Could be used to navigate George in a way)??
-Nintendo also the makers of Gameboy Advance, which Broken Sword 1 was released to.
-The screen could be perfect size for the Broken Sword games
-We have actually seen adventure games on this console (Another Code).

Playstation Portable (PSP):
-Possibly the least likely (since no adventure games have been mentioned for this console) but they did put Broken Sword on the Playstation.
-Would it even suit the PSP's style of buttons (e.g Navigation)? - On the Playstation I'm sure most of us found the d-pad annoying to control George?
-Or they could stick to Gameboys Navigation style by actually being able to control George physically so you can move him. Would maybe even work better on the PSP than it did on both Gameboy advance and Playstation 1, since it also got a little round (360 degrees) d-pad for your thumb (similar to the directonal sticks on PS2) which also seems to work good for Point 'n Click games, maybe you could have the abillity to choose whetever you would have classic point 'n' click Broken Sword a'la Broken Sword 1,2 Pc/Ps1 or d-pad controllig a'la Broken Sword 1 for Gameboy Advance.

So Broken Sword Handheld?
As you might know, Revolution started to develope Broken Sword 1 for Pocket PC's/Palm OS, and it will be out this year or early next. If the game suceeds, I would think that they would put the first two games (if they would find a publisher) and also maybe the third game on a handheld console.

All we can do in the meantime is hope that Revolution developes a Broken Sword game for a handheld console and do another brilliant job in deciding what handheld console and get a good publisher. Either way always remember "Stay alert and look out for suspicious characters".
