"If you like to think, though, and are looking for what is probably the best console point-and-click adventure game available on the PlayStation, then step right up. Revolution joins Sierra and Lucasarts as one of the finest crafters of adventure games I've seen in recent years, and the fact that it's pulled off so nicely on a console just makes it more rewarding. Beautiful control and voice acting, good animation, and a nicely executed plot all add up to a fun, well-rounded experience."
IGN ... 8/10

"All in all, I must conclude that I really like Broken Sword II and that it's one of the best games on the market. The scenery is very enjoyable and the graphics are a pleasure for the eye. The dialog is to the point and, most of the time, rather funny. To conclude, the people at Revolution Software once again have done a great job."
Adventure Collective ... 4/5

"I thoroughly enjoyed the first Broken Sword and this one is just as entertaining, though a little easier. As I said in my review of the earlier game I do like this sort of graphic adventure -- they are just fun to play. Experienced adventurers may find the game over all too soon, but for new or less-experienced players there are many hours of fun in store."
Quandry ... 4/5

"I would recommend this game to anyone from those who were fans of the original and in need for another fix in the adventures of George and Nico, to those who want to get into this genre with a well-made and compelling adventure."
DVDFever ... 4/5
